So, I branching out. My husband ordered me an early Christmas present...a decal machine. I'm planning on making custom horse decals but I thought that Splash Dog people might be interested in having custom decals of their dogs diving!

I figured here would be the best place to post to see if this is something I should do. Here is what they would look like (but with your dog of course!) You could put whatever wording you want on the decal as well (sayings, dog's name, kennel name, etc.) and I can make up to 24" tall, so plenty big to cover a car window, trailer, etc.

I should have everything up and running in the next month, so just in time for Christmas presents! Mostly, I just wanted some feedback from you guys on what you think of the decal!

I figure you've got one whole room of pictures of Lil Gunner and all of his awards in fact you may have to buy a bigger house! Sorry your not going to Scottsdale, you'll be missed! We decided to go after the great news about Jim. So keep those postive thoughts that MickeyD is actually going to sit and stay for Jim, yeah right! Your going to miss the ridiculous outfit I am making him wear up on the dock, but I'll get some pictures for you! Take care.

Hi guys...quick update. My machine finally arrived after much grief with UPS, lol. My website is coming along, and I will be practicing this weekend to make sure everyone gets excellent quality decals!

As far as pricing, that all depends on what size decal you want. I will have the capability of making a decal up to 24" tall and even bigger if I make it in sections...I will be making them for people's horse trailers.

Anyway, the small decals (6-8") in size, I'm expecting to be approx $5-$10 depending on how complicated the picture is up to ?? for the really big decals. I'm trying to keep prices as reasonable as possible while still making a little bit of income to help pay for Charlie jumping more next year!! :D

Sorry I haven't checked this board in forever. I have everything set up to make decals. Just don't have the website up and running yet fully. I can take orders anyway though, so if anyone is interested, email uphamj@cccomm.net

Please send the picture you want used in the largest file size you can. If you send a tiny file, you lose a lot in the details. Also include the approximate size of decal you want (I can do up to 24" tall). I will do a mock up of the decal, and send that with a price estimate. You can make any changes you want, and when you are happy with the product, you can send payment via check or pay online through my website, or Paypal (extra charge) if you are more comfortable with that.

As far as colors for the decals, white usually looks best against car glass, but I can do any color you would like. I currently have in stock red, yellow, navy blue, white, silver glitter, red glitter, silver pattern. If I need to order a color for you, it takes about a week for me to get it in stock.

Charlie and I are planning to attend the Sacramento event in January, and I plan on having some examples available for viewing there. I will also have my camera at the event, and can pictures to turn into decals.

Here are very very "rough" versions of what Gunner's decals would look like. I would really need bigger file sizes on those to make them look really good.
