Hi Everyone,
Lilly is one of the four Bemis dogs that were impounded at the Devore shelter for THREE AND A HALF years. These 4 dogs were impounded at the shelter for so long because they were caught in a court case involving animal abuse and neglect charges. We have been able to place the other 3 dogs in forever and foster homes.
The foster mom for Lilly was recently hospitalized for about a month for severe pneumonia and asthma. We urgently need to find another foster or forever home for Lilly. Pls help network Lilly and pass her info to all you friends and family that may be interested in fostering or adopting her. Thank you.
Hi, my name is Lilly. I was living at the shelter for over three and a half years before I got released and rescued by some people. I was an evidence animal in a court case involving animal abuse, hoarding and cruelty. I did nothing wrong other than having the misfortune of being hoarded by a woman who abused and neglected all the animals she took in. I am about five years old and weigh about forty pounds. I’m a little bull dog mix girl with a little pit in me. I'm just full of love despite all the hardships I have experienced.
I’m very sweet with people and I’m good with other dogs my size or larger. I do not do well with cats. I have gone so long without love and affection that I make up for it with every person I meet. I love to give kisses and hugs all the time. I especially love my food and need plenty exercise. I love going on longs walks and even jogs. I’m already spayed, micro-chipped and vaccinated and ready to go home immediately. Please adopt me and I will show you how much love and affection I have to share………
