Cynosport Room Blocks

Hi everyone,

I took the action to arrange for a block of rooms at La Quinta Inn for Cynosports. The block is under Splash Dogs.

When you call to reserve your room, mention it is under the Splash Dogs group. They are charging a flat rate - no pet fee nor additional charge for extra people in the room.

The LaQuinta Inn is giving us a block of 14 rooms.
(4)double beds and (9) single king rooms are $125 per night
(2) suites (1 king bedroom with a sofa couch) are $171

I booked at the Doubletree Paradise Resort directly on their website with an AARP rate of $125.00 a night. If your not old like us and want to stay at this hotel go to Lets Go Pets and their rate is $139.00. Hey I figured nothing but the best for MickeyD! What I found to be unbelievable is that there are not alot of rooms available this time of the year.....so you really need to book early.

Just got off the phone with LaQuinta - UPDATE

When you book your reservation please ask for the USDAA Dog Show rate - $102.

They are retarded and would not drop our rate so I told them to cancel the Splash Dogs and we will request USDAA Dog Show group when we call for reservations.

So - new rate is $102 per night and ask for USDAA Dog Show Group rate.

Does anybody know why the other La Quinta is so much cheaper? It says it is almost the same distance. Just wondering.

Actually, the LQ Scottsdale is about 3 miles from Westworld. The LQ Phoenix is about 16 miles away. Maybe because it's closer to the event? Just a guess.

Okay, I made my reservation today and the guy tried to quote me a rate of $112!! I told him, no no no, it's $102. Then, for kicks, I asked him if there was a lower rate than that. He said there wasn't.

And good job, Craig! Hey, is it a full breakfast, or continental?

If you aren't able to get into La Quinta, please check out the USDAA website under 'travel' as there are several hotels in the area with no pet fee and breakfast.
