Default Virginia Splash Dogs Flight Squadron

Just wanted to let EVERYONE out there looking for a dock diving club in the mid-atlantic that there is now an active club in Virginia Beach, Viriginia. We are based at a large daycare, boarding, grooming and training facility, Thee Dog House ( www.theedoghouse.com ), and we have a great training facility with a heated saltwater pool, 40' dock, professional trainers and we train for all three events; Super Air, The Retrieve and Super Vertical. We have trained over 40 dogs for dock diving events and some of whom have already won events!
We are planning on putting on several events in this area during 2010. Our first club meeting is scheduled for Saturday, January 23rd at 3pm. We are continuing to jump and practice daily so come on out and join us.

Default 2010

In our first meeting we will be going over our practice and event schedule for 2010. We will also be having a sponsor guest speaker too. 2010 is going to be a fun time for sure.

Thanks Sassy. Splash Dogs is a perfect fit for this area, being right on the ocean we have a lot of dogs who enjoy playing in the the water but very few people around here know about the sport of dock diving. We are excited to about introducing a lot of new dog owners to the sport. We look forward to meeting ALL of the Splash Dogs family throughout the upcoming year.

Smile Splash Dogs in Virginia??!?!?

Hey guys:

I have never competed in a Splash Dogs event as I live in Maryland. I have a good friend in Colorado(some of you may know her, Melissa Charity with "Mig" the Border Collie)who always sings the Praises of Splash Dogs. When I saw that you may be doing events in Virginia I got very excited! I am very interested in learning more about Splash Dogs and meeting some fellow competitors. Any more info on some upcoming events in Virginia?

Lookin' forward to learning more!

So glad you enjoyed yourself. The dogs usually have a blast. I'm not sure what happened to the guys who were working on Virginia but wanted to let you know to mark your calendar. There will be another event in NC next weekend. The registration info has been posted. This event will also include UKC Titling.

Happy Jumping!

We are planning on going and even bringing a third dog we've done dock diving with other venues but really like the atmosphere of Splash Dogs. We actually like it so much we're trying to plan our trip to California next year around a Splash Dog's event (just not sure when yet).
